My mom is a jedi

What follows is a conversation between my mom and me with literal (sorta) translations from Hakka. Pardon the lousy romanization. It sounds a lot funnier in Chinese.

Mom: Ngi oi yim barley mau? [You want drink barley or not?]
Me: Moi. [Don't want.]
Mom: Oi! [Want!]

Talk about a Jedi mind trick. Incidentally, I did end up having a glass.

I was also playing "Nothing Else Matters" on Guitar Hero: Metallica, and she commented about how she likes that song because my brother used to listen to it continually.
